I’ve been living with chronic pain since the 5th grade. It began as a slight ache in my hands, worsened during college, and by my early 40s had taken over my entire body. I’ve undergone surgeries, received upper cervical and lower lumbar epidurals, and been prescribed every medication imaginable, even chemotherapy drugs to control inflammation. Nothing truly helped, it only numbed me. Over time, I lost my zest for life. I withdrew from family, stopped wanting to talk, and lived in constant pain. Eventually, I was diagnosed with advanced spondyloarthritis and neuropathy affecting my entire body.
A family member introduced me to Dr. Meglin and his team. For the first time, I had a genuine conversation with a doctor, someone who had personally experienced neuropathy.
